Heroad Investments was invited to attend the 2024 Korea High-Tech Enterprise Entrepreneurship Week

On August 31st, the 2024 Korea High-Tech Enterprise Entrepreneurship Week event, hosted by the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency and organized by iMakerbase, an international accelerator, with the support of Qianhai Yadi Innovation Center, Bao'an Wutong Island BLLB Office Community, successfully concluded at Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub. Twenty Korean high-tech companies gathered in Shenzhen, marking a new milestone in Sino-Korean technological cooperation in the Greater Bay Area.

 

In attendance were Consul General Kang Sang-wook of the Republic of Korea in Guangzhou, Consul Kim Jong-sun, Consul Ding Yinan, Director Lee Sang-geun of the Chongqing Representative Office of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, Director Kim Seong-su of the Shenzhen Representative Office of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, CEO Ding Chunfa of iMakerbase, Liang Zuqiang, Partner of iMakerbase, Wen Yuhang, President of Shenzhen International Robot Ecology Alliance, and Zhang Haoling, Co-founder of Heroad Investments. The event also received strong support from the Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea in Guangzhou and the Shenzhen International Chamber of Commerce.

As a representative of investors, Zhang Haoling, Co-founder of Heroad Investments, delivered a speech. Heroad Investments has invested in several star projects at an early stage, including Pudu Robotics, T-chef Tech, Yunti Technology, and Yarbo. Through this event, we have witnessed the strong innovation capabilities and market potential of Korean technology companies in their respective fields. We look forward to exploring future cooperation possibilities together.

To facilitate deeper collaboration between Korean innovation teams and Shenzhen's innovation ecosystem, the event organized a two-day project roadshow and 1:1 matchmaking sessions tailored to the needs of the 20 participating Korean high-tech companies. Over 15 professional investment institutions, including Shenzhen Angel FOF, Heroad Investments, TusHoldings, OFC Capital, HCSD Capital along with more than 60 industry experts from the Shenzhen International Chamber of Commerce, Shenzhen Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investments, Shenzhen International Robotics Ecology Alliance, Shenzhen Smart City Research Institute, Orbbec, Shenzhen Telecom, and YYD Robo, were invited to attend. The participating companies showcased a wide range of innovative projects, covering fields such as artificial intelligence, IoT, autonomous driving, new energy, new materials, biomedicine, and medical devices, demonstrating the robust strength and immense potential of Korean technological innovation. Through project roadshows and matchmaking, these companies presented their unique commercial value and market potential to Chinese industry enterprises, professional investors, and innovation experts. The event provided ample opportunities for communication and interaction between Chinese and Korean companies, fostering numerous potential partnerships.

In the future, Heroad Investments will continue to uphold its vision of “We make investments good·We make good investments” and will continue to focus on service robots/intelligent AI, mental health, and original Chinese brands, promoting the concept of benevolent investment and contributing to global sustainable development.
