On September 15-18, 2020, the "Joint Entrepreneurship Acceleration Camp and Yichuang Angel Plan Joint Empowerment Camp" jointly organized by Shenzhen International College of Public Welfare and Social Value Investment Alliance was successfully held at the college's Shenzhen Guochuang Campus.
The joint empowerment camp supports sustainable development and innovation enterprises in creatively, professionally, on a large scale, and sustainably solving social and environmental problems, incubating long-term value through systematic courses, project roadshows, financing docking, and integration of influence assets. A total of 23 social entrepreneurs were selected for the joint empowerment camp, with projects mainly focused on the Angel/Pre A round, covering multiple industries such as accessibility, green, education, technology, consumption, elderly care, and health, and most of them entering the product/service market validation stage. The Joint Empowerment Camp serves as the second phase of the Yichuang Angel Plan, and a total of 9 out of the 18 finalists in the first phase of the Yichuang Angel Plan were selected for the Joint Empowerment Camp and Investment and Financing Matchmaking Meeting.

The Yi Chuang Angel Program is supported by alumni Ms. Zhang Haoling, who donated funds on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the college. The aim is to explore, incubate, and support a group of potential social enterprises and innovative talents through an innovative model that combines public welfare venture capital and influence investment. The project leverages the resource advantages of Shenzhen International Public Welfare College and its initiators, and collaborates with partners in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, and other regions to establish a diverse network of academic, practical, and investment resources in a cycle of discovery, selection, empowerment, resource integration, and accompanying growth, and to improve the social innovation ecosystem.

The Joint Empowerment Camp develops courses around the most practical concerns of entrepreneurs, offering five major course modules: product diagnosis, shared benefit ecology, financing planning, hardcore teams, and leadership. It invites nearly 20 industry experts and alumni mentors to give lectures and provide accompanying guidance. Two simulation roadshows run through the entire joint empowerment camp, helping selected projects further refine their business plans and extract sustainable development models through feedback from investor judges. The joint empowerment camp has also set up on-site visits to Huawei headquarters, allowing entrepreneurs to anticipate future development trends and use technology to empower enterprises.

On the afternoon of September 19th, the following day after the completion of the empowerment camp, the Shenzhen International Public Welfare College and the Social Investment Alliance held an SDGs Road Show, with over 30 investor representatives attending the event. After 4 days of screening and deep empowerment through the joint venture acceleration camp and the Yichuang Angel Plan empowerment camp, 8 entrepreneurs from accessibility, education, big health, green industry, and technology sectors stood out and conducted project roadshows. In the end, the Creator Public Welfare MCN (Building a Public Welfare Network Red Economy), OWALA (Youth Research Exploration Course), and Jinglun Century (AI Technology Empowering Rural Doctors) projects ranked in the top three. Among them, the Creator Public Welfare MCN recommended by the Yi Chuang Angel Program and Jinglun Century projects won the gold and bronze awards of the project roadshow, respectively.
Connect high-quality social enterprises, influential investors, and industry partners through empowerment camps and roadshows, and build an influential asset integration platform. Within a week, shortlisted social entrepreneurs had in-depth communication and established links with professional mentors, investors, and partners, ultimately achieving many cooperation and investment intentions.
